The story
That sounds like a terrible business plan. We are doing it anyway. Here is why.
Barakah (Arabic: بركة) means blessing — not in the "hashtag blessed" sense, but in the older, quieter one. It is abundance that does not run out. Presence that fills a room. The feeling of a home where everything has a reason for being there.
I believe the objects in your home either create barakah or drain it. A spice rack that keeps your paprika accessible before it expires? Barakah. A drawer where spatulas go to die? The opposite. Every product in this store had to convince me it belongs in someone's home. Most did not.
I started Home Barakah in 2026 because I was tired of shopping for home goods. Not the finding-cool-things part — I love that part. I was tired of the other part: scrolling past 40,000 results on Amazon, reading fake reviews, comparing nearly identical products with nearly identical prices, and still not knowing if the thing was any good.
The internet made everything available. It did not make everything worth buying. I wanted one store that did the filtering for me — a short list of things someone had already checked, already tested, already said yes or no to. That store did not exist. So I built it.
Home Barakah is a curated dropshipping store. That is the honest label. Here is what it means in practice:
This matters more than what we sell. We say no to:
If a product does not bring genuine value to your home, it does not belong in our catalog. That is not a marketing line. It is the entire strategy.
My name is Muhammad. I run Home Barakah from Islamabad, Pakistan — curating products, writing blog posts about spice racks, answering customer emails, and occasionally making myself tea between tasks. It is a one-person operation, which means every decision — every product, every word, every pixel — was made by someone whose name is on the receipt.
I believe a home should feel like a sanctuary, not a storage unit. I believe you should not need a design degree to make your kitchen work better. And I believe that if I am going to sell you something, I owe you the truth about it — even when the truth is "you probably do not need this."
That is the store. Thank you for reading this far. If you ever need to reach me directly: muhammad@homebarakah.com.
